From his childhood, he uses the family camcorder to make films with his friends. It is in 1995 that his first video shorts begin to circulate in the Festivals and win prizes. He has a degree in Audiovisuals from the Université du Pays Basque. He works as director and assistant director on television. The First Time is his first 35mm short film.
