He’s in love with Yasmine, a villagegirl. At night they meet in secret away from the disapproving villagers’ eyes. While Yasmine’s parents are busy arranging her future, an unexpected happening changes everyone’s lives.     Najwa Najjar Najwa Najjar studied politics, economics and film in the USA. She wrote and directed documentaries, screened at film festivals worldwide and have won international awards including: A Boy Called Mohamed (2002), Jawhar Al Silwan (Quintessence of Oblivion) (2001), Naim & Wadee'a (1999 and Blue Gold (2004). Yasmine's song (2006) is her first fiction short. Recently she directed her first short fiction Yasmine's Song (2006).
