Amidst a suffering Roma family on the verge of breakdown, there is 10 year-old Totonel, better known as Toto. Toto dreams of learning to read, write and dance. Especially to dance and to win the big Hip Hop competition. Toto is encouraged in this by his two sisters, who are doing their best to keep the family together. This story by filmmaker Alexander Nanau tells the tale of Toto without artifice and with dignity amidst a family who are lacking in everything except love and humour.
