In a traditional village in Kosova, a year after the war (2000) when people are rebuilding their lives, the female school teacher Lushe is driven by her inner conscience to give an interview to an international journalist, telling her that she and three other women from the village were raped by Serbian forces. When the news is published, the male villagers start being suspicious about their wives.


Isa Qosja

Born in 1949 in Montenegro. Graduated in high school of Dramatique Arts, Acting in Prishtina, and film academy, film and TV direction in Belgrade. He begans a career in theatre before turning to directing short films and documentaries in the 80'. In 1985, he directed his first long feature film, Proka, which has featured among other at the Cannes Film Festival. His second feature film, Guards of the Fog, was screened in many international film festivals. In 2005, his film Kukumi won the Special Jury Prize at Sarajevo Film Festival. In 2014 he directed Three Windows and a Hanging, selected again at Sarajevo and which became the first Kosovan film to be submitted for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
