Arab and Tarzan are twin brothers born in Gaza in 1988. Longtime cinephiles, they still live in Gaza. After four years of work in the film industry, in 2010, they won the Young Artist of the Year Award with their project Gazawood and their short film Colorful Journey, which played at London’s Mosaic Room in March 2011. They continue to enter the international consciousness, and in 2012 were featured in Al-Monitor's list of the 50 People Shaping the Culture of the Middle East. Their short film Condom Lead was selected in competition in Cannes. Their project of long feature, Casting, won the Development Grant of Cinemed 2013 and will be shot in 2016. Degrade is their first feature film.
