Cross, performance, erotism, madness, scratch running into the vital space of people that you meet in the street. For 90 seconds. The man (Bennet) makes a sign on nude bodies that show themselves to the camera. Later he takes them back, one after another, scratching them on the film, again and again. The cross lands on the nude skin freeing the female body from a secular repression. The erotism becomes sublime during the preparation, at the moment the individual collects the provocation, accepting to become the main character of a game with parts that are not defined.


 
 
Bennet Pimpinella

Born in 1977, he studied film at the Accademia dell'Immagine in L'Aquila and works steadily in film and TV, and is also the assistant of Vittorio Storaro. Bennet is an eccentric experimenter in images in motion. Retrolit glass, stop motion, screenfuls of pins, time lapses, scratches and paint on film are some ot the techniques in the vast, yet young filmography of Pimpinella: a series of compositions that touch upon cinema, art, photography, exploring unreal, almost forgotten spaces.
