A young business lawyer realises that the old Romanian woman who begs where he lives looks like his grandmother. One evening he makes a cardboard sign that reads 'I could be your grandmother'. Passersby suddenly become very generous. Other homeless people ask him for signs and the lawyer is soon overwhelmed by demand…

Bernard Tanguy

Born on 12 January 1965 in Saint Brieuc. After scientific studies, he abandoned a career as a telecommunications engineer to devote all his time to the arts: music, writing and directing. Since 2005 he has directed short films at Rézina Productions, a company that he founded with his brother. This was the framework for the production of a dozen shorts and the coproduction of two feature films, including La Vie au Ranch by Sophie Letourneur. Since June 2010, he has been chairman of Garance Capital, a coproduction funding company, operating in particular for coming feature films by Virginie Despentes and Matteo Garrone.
