Only five flight hours from Paris, amidst the housing projects of a suburb of Tel Aviv, an Israeli cab driver who longs to fly and a Russian music teacher who is about to fly away find out that romance has not gone with the wind… it was only waiting for a taxi.

Leonid Prudovsky

Born in St-Petersburg, Russia in 1978, he immigrated to Israel at the age of 13. He graduated from Tel Aviv University, winning the CILECT (World Wide Organization of Film Schools) prize. He made several short and medium length films, such as Dark Night, Like a Fish Without Water, a mini-serie Troyka and a feature film, Five Hours From Paris, winning many awards. Leon is an artistic adviser for the four Israeli Film Funds and a script adviser for film schools in Israel. He is currently working on his next feature film, Mon voisin Hitler, selected in the 2013 Cinemed Development Grant.
