Corum - Opéra Berlioz Mercredi 30 octobre 2013, 21 h 15

Guido Anselmi, a film director, is stuck for inspiration in the middle of writing a screenplay. He withdraws to a health resort. His wife Louisa, his mistress Carla, his friends, his actors and his producer come to pay a visit. They all want him to finish writing the film. He takes refuge in endless daydreaming. Wandering between dream and reality, Fellini plays out his own anxiety toward creation.

Federico Fellini

Born in 1920. He begins in reporting , collaborating particularily with Marc Aurelio, then becomes script-writer, writing gags for Macario and Fabrizi. He works with Rossellini on different projects, directs his first film with Lattuada, Les Feux du music-hall. His first inspiration is neo-realistic (Courrier du cœur, Les Vitelloni, La strada, Il bidone, Les Nuits de Cabiria, La dolce vita). As of 8 1/2, his films give a larger space to his fantasies and his memories : Clowns, Fellini Roma, Amarcord. His taste for baroque is confirmed in Satyricon, Casanova or La Cité des femmes. His last films : Et vogue le navire, Ginger et Fred, Intervista, La voce della luna. He died in 1993.
