A young woman and her friends are going to spend a fine summer's day on the banks of the Danube. Vukovar bathed in sun, a relaxed atmosphere and their good humour create a world in which everything seems simple and radiant. They do not know that their careless youth could be smashed suddenly.


 
 
Dalibor Matanic

Born in 1975, in Zagreb, Croatia. In 1993, he entered film and TV directing at Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, Croatia. He worked as an assistant director on films of Zrinko Ogresta and Zoran Tadic. In 2000 he made his first feature The Cashier Wants to Go to the Seaside which won him an award for best Croatian newcomer director. In 2002, he directed the short film, Drought, shown at the Director's Fortnight in Cannes 2003. Then he directed several long features Fine Dead Girls (2002), 100 Minutes of Glory (2004) and Kino Lika (2008). He is preparing a new feature film, Mother of Asphalt.
