Yossi, in his thirties, lives alone in Tel Aviv and is uncomfortable with his sexuality. His work as a cardiologist forms an escape from his misfortunes in love. During a trip to the south of Israel, he meets a group of young soldiers and one of them reawakes his taste for life.


 
 
Eytan Fox

Born in new York in 1964, Eytan Fox grew up in Jerusalem and studied in the Tel Aviv's Film School. His first film Time Off won the "Movie of the Year Award" at the Israeli Film Institute in 1990. His first feature film Song of the Siren (1994) was a great success in Israel . Then he directed the TV series Florentene (1997-2000), about young people before and after the murder of Rabin. In 1998 he directed a musical drama for Israel's Channel 2 Gotta Have Heart. In 2002, Yossi and Jagger was presented in the Berlin Film festival, as Walk on Water (2004) which is his third feature film.
