Mamadu, a boy born in Italy by Senagalese parents, fights daily with his own personal battle to be recognized as an Italian citizien. Yet neither first generation immigrants or his old landlady want to help him.


 
 
Alessandro Valori

Born in Macerata in 1965. After learning scenario writing alongside Tonino Guerra, he perfects the art with Nikita Michalkov, then works as assistant director to Sergio Corbucci and the Taviani brothers. In 1991, he founded the production company Notorius. He directed his first film in 1992, a documentary named Roma nascosta: nascito di un evento, as well as many video clips. In 1996, his short film Baby Bounty Killer won the Silver Chaplin for best short film at the GioFest. He later directed Silenzi e castelli (2002) and Radio West (fm.97) his first feature film. Will follow various short films: La fisarmonica, 2004 ; Play your Life, 2005 ; Chi Nasce Tondo, 2007, feature film ; Lucciole, 2008, documentary ; Il Giorno del Bucato, 2009 ; Finis Terrae, 2010. Babylon Fast Food is his last short.
