Alsemberg, December 1975. Sarah, 8 years old, lives in a Catholic foyer. One day, her biological father, whom she has never met, comes to take her for a week end in Paris. But it is in Morocco that Sarah wakes up, in a little town lost in the middle of the Atlas. Very soon, her father leaves, abandoning her without any explanation. She then slips into the life of a little Moroccan girl where the only schooling she is offered is that of knitting.

Kadija Leclere

After graduating from the Conservatoire Royal d'art dramatique in Brussels in 1997, she was an actress for several years before working as casting director on about a hundred films, including 'Indigènes' by Rachid Bouchareb, 'Survivre avec les loups' by Véra Belmont, 'Mr Nobody' by Jaco Van Dormael and 'Les Barons' by Nabyl Ben Yadir. In parallel, she made a first short film called 'Camille' that served as a film school leading to 'Sarah', her second short. She then made 'Pelote de laine'. 'Le Sac de farine' is her first feature film and tells a story that is close to her.
