Igor Sterk
Born in Ljubljana in 1968. Graduate of the Theatre, radio, film and television Academy of Ljubljana (direction section). Following the short-length documentary Postcards, he directs One Way Ticket, a short film which wins several prizes. After a six month cruise in the Caribbean, he directs his first feature full-length film, Express, express (1997) which obtained several awards at the Montpellier Film Festival in 1998. He directs his second feature film Ljubljana in 2002. After Tuning (2005), selected in 2005 for competition in the long feature category in Montpellier, he comes back to the short in 2008 with Out Of the Breath. He's shooting now his next long feature film.
